Technical Project Manager

Technical Project Manager – 6 month contract, likely to extend

***Must speak German and English***

Brand new opportunity due to growth to work on a project with one of the largest and well-known Telecommunications company in the world.

We’re looking for 2+ years of experience in the Technical Project Management area, including consolidated technical experience in Mobile Radio Planning and Optimization:

What you can bring:

  • Engineer graduated in Telecommunications or Electronic Engineering;
  • More than 4 years experience in the mobile telecom business;
  • Knowledge in Radio Planning and Optimization (more than one vendor is considered a plus);
  • Experience in project management activities, including technical management of projects;
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills;
  • Experience in Customer’s relationship management;
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking;
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills;
  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices;
  • Excellent analytical skills;
  • Work integrated in a project PMO team for a project driven methodology;
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus;
  • ITIL knowledge is a plus;
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office;
  • Network knowledge and focus on infra-structure is a plus
  • Database knowledge is a plus;
  • Availability to travel if needed;

What you’ll be doing:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects;
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget;
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress;
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs;
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques;
  • Report and escalate to high level management when needed;
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders;
  • Perform risk management assessment to minimize project risks;
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation;
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals;
  • Project budgetary and financial control analysis to identify and highlight eventual constrains and needs for adjustments;
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress;
  • Regular Project Reporting;
  • Meeting minutes and actions tracking;
  • Align and ensure project roll out plans;
  • Identify blockers and prepare mitigation plans;

This is a hybrid role, working in the office 2 days per week in a client facing capacity.
