I am working on an exciting new opportunity with a fast-evolving company with exceptional capabilities. They are embarking on an exciting transformation project and are looking for a skilled GCP Engineer to join their growing team who work on evolving data capabilities whilst embracing the best industry standards for the clients. 

What you’ll be doing:

• Design GCP architecture to enable cloud migration programs, analyze the existing application.
• Plan, Design and architecture solutions using GCP.
• Enable GCP cloud journey, gather requirements.
• Create a unified strategy for GCP cloud transformation governance, automation, security, implementation, and operations
• Day-to-day lead the customer through the technical and organizational challenges of Cloud and DevOps transformation.
• Consult and provide technical guidance on GCP design, governance, performance, scalability, security, operations, and cost control best practices.
• Become a thought leader by educating and sharing best practices, building deep relationships with stakeholders.
• Have a flexible thought process to determine quick shift in design and architecture to accommodate to any changing requirement.

What you can bring:

• About 10+ years of experience in Data solutions with expertise on GCP Public Cloud.
• Deep understanding of enterprise architecture strong background with service-oriented architecture, building scalable, reliable systems. Knowledge of all components of application.
• Strong experience on building design /architecture for solving complex data use cases and GCP migration.
• Operationalizing GCP environment; cost optimization, well-architected framework, security best
• Hands-on experience in Building ETL Pipelines.
• Hands-on experience in writing scripts using Python, Pycharm, DBT.
• Experience in using Hadoop, Spark, Hive etc.
• Hands-on experience in using GKE, Cloud SQL, GCS.
• Hands-on experience in Building Data pipelines in GCP (Big Query, Data Proc, DataFlow, Cloud Composer)
• Self-starter & resourceful personality with the ability to manage pressure situations
• Able to influence and lead experienced engineers by example
• Able to communicate complex, technical concepts to a wide range of stakeholders with varying perspectives and technical expertise
• Comfortable under pressure and welcome new challenges
• Design in a high-volume, high-availability environment
• Advanced knowledge of distributed systems and concepts
• Direct experience executing successful business transformation projects with measurable results
• Technical delivery, team leadership, and senior client relationship management.

What you can expect:
Salary: £90,000
Hybrid: 2 days per week, Leeds
